I’ve been actively working in the cryptocurrency industry over the last year, and one thing that I’ve noticed is that there’s a very limited amount of non-glamorous uses of Bitcoin. This post is not meant to tell people to use Bitcoin for their utility bills. Instead, I’ll try to share my view on how Bitcoin can help anyone and also demonstrate how I see it in my utility bills.
While explaining to a friend about Bitcoin, I was asked: “What about Bitcoin for charity? Can’t you find a charity or cause for Bitcoin?” At first, I thought that he’s trying to get me to write something about charitable donations. Then, I started thinking that perhaps I need to rephrase my answer to them.

The problem
Let’s take a look at the traditional Indian government mechanism and see how the government spends money. For example, the government is known for spending money on expensive advertisements that look like professional videos.

the government of India on cryptocurrency has thus been downgraded to tier 3 of the World Trade Organization’s tariff order, a classification that says India would be charged a 90 percent tariff on most of its exports to the United States (while US exports to the UK would not be charged tariff). It would also have to amend its domestic laws to allow the United States and the UK to levy higher import duties on most Indian goods. It would have to set up a new inspection system to approve exports to the US and the UK and would have to pay compensation for the suspension of its exports.
Of the estimated $15 billion of products that India exports to the United States, roughly $6 billion are garments. Out of the 1.1 million jobs that the garment industry supports in the United States, 800,000 of those are in California alone, or 22% of the total jobs in the garment manufacturing industry in the US, which employs approximately 63,000 Americans. While exports to the UK are limited to 1.2 million of the views cryptocurrency.
